Cameo Introduces P6, Its Most Powerful LED Profile Spot Yet
Cameo has introduced the P6 LED Profile Spot, a state-of-the-art lighting fixture built to replace traditional 2.5 kW halogen profile spots. Boasting a 600-watt RGBACL engine, the P6 delivers 16,000 lumens and a suite of innovative features for stage, studio, and event applications.
The P6 is the latest addition to Cameo’s professional-grade P series, designed for theatres, TV productions, conferences, and live events. Its colour performance is enhanced by Cameo’s proprietary XColour technology, allowing precise RGB + amber + cyan + lime mixing. The unit provides a high CRI of 98 and a TLCI of 94, ensuring that both people and environments are presented in vibrant, natural hues under various lighting conditions.
This model includes a broad zoom range from 5° to 50°, a rotatable framing shutter system for creative beam control, and a stepless frost filter for seamless diffusion. Accessories such as gobos and iris modules can be added via a modular slot, while an optional bracket allows the unit to double as a follow spot. Manual operation is fully supported, offering flexibility to lighting designers accustomed to traditional workflows.
Engineered for longevity, the P6 offers approximately 50,000 hours of service life and lower power consumption—contributing to reduced energy costs and supporting EU-wide climate objectives.
Alongside the P6, the P series also features the P2 T (3200 K), P2 D (5600 K), and P2 FC (RGBAL), each designed as energy-efficient alternatives to conventional 1 kW fixtures.
The Cameo P6 is scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2025.
