Big Stage 2023: Aina Abdul is surprised, responds to allegations that she does not like Farhan Shah
Big Stage 5 regular JURY, Aina Abdul was surprised when she said she didn’t like the star who was eliminated in the sixth week, Farhan Shah.
According to Aina, she makes the judging fairly based on the progress of the performance and also the performance every week.
“Actually for Farhan I really supported him after the second week because that week he blew me away.
“He’s more into pop jazz and also a little bit of ballads. But why did I treat him so low last week, it has nothing to do with personal matters , I love them all equally,” she said.
ISSUES GIVE 39 MARKS TO FARHAN
Explaining more about the total of 39 marks given to Farhan last week, Aina said that after the second week the performance of the star from Singapore declined somewhat.
“This is a competition, when I hear… One of his performances did not reach my heart. The two notes that Farhan tried to sing had levels.
“He tried to achieve and he succeeded but not completely. It means that Farhan’s singing is not rounded, it seems to force the note to reach.
“I’m the kind of person who looks for deliciousness. So for last week’s song, I couldn’t get that flavor.
“So for this week too, I think Farhan’s soul is tired. I can feel his soul tired to show the audience. Tired is not because he is not good.
“We see that he is enthusiastic, he tries to give his all but it is not enough. He tried to give 100 percent but he didn’t manage to lock even 50 marks with me.
“That’s what I mean, less is more . Maybe for Farhan, give a more minimalist performance,” she explained.
EXPLANATION OF IMMUNITY – X
Speaking about Immunity-X, Aina told that the decision was given with the agreement of the jury, Ajai and also Datuk Seri Rossa.
“Immunity-X was not my decision alone. Actually, Rossa also has a choice. So I talked to Ajai, we asked Rossa and they all gave the same answer. Tonight is Farhan’s turn.
“There is nothing personal with him. I hope he is not thinking nonsense. Just DM me and talk to me.
“Once again I emphasize that there is nothing personal , I just couldn’t feel his performance the way I enjoyed it in the second week.
“I’m sorry Farhan, but find the best place, understand your heart, what you want to sing and to whom you want to sing it. That’s the most important thing.
“Find a subject for you to sing. If you sing a song for me, look at me and sing,” she insisted.
Earlier after Isaac Voo was eliminated through Immunity-X in the second week, now Farhan Shah also received the same fate.
Farhan was announced as the fourth star to be eliminated at the Big Stage concert in the sixth week thus saving Dem Lepak Boyz who should have been eliminated.
The star from Singapore delivered the original song Fighter by Christina Aguilera apparently failed to convince the judges to continue competing on the Big Stage.
Earlier, Isaac Voo, Naufal Azrin and Meer Nash were the three stars who were eliminated at the Big Stage 5 concert.
Hosted by Elly Mazlein and Rina Nose, Big Stage 5 broadcasts live from MBSA Auditorium, Shah Alam for 10 weeks every Sunday, 9pm on Astro Ria (channel 104).
