The FORMULA that makes a reality program produced by the television stations succeed in getting the audience’s attention is on the element of surprise that is featured.
Surprises and variations will usually make entertainment lovers sit in front of the TV every week to follow the development of a reality show.
The same goes for the various entertainment reality programs published by Astro that are never full of surprises and twists.
The latest, the Big Stage 2022 program which started its inaugural mala mini live from the Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC) early on has already promised a surprise.
As announced by the country’s first satellite television station, a total of 11 young stars have been shortlisted to take up the challenge at Big Stage 2022.
Of the 11 participants, nine of them are local talents namely Aisha Retno, Elica Paujin, Tuah Adzmi, Lia Aziz, Yazmin Aziz, Sofiaa Marieylla, Megat Rahim, Ajoi Zainal and Danial Chuer.
Meanwhile, two songs of the participants were specially flown from Brunei, namely Syafiq Abdilah and Tegar Septian from Indonesia.
However, Astro AWANI understands that Big Stage 2022 will add the participation of another talent, making all the participants who will challenge themselves to be 12 people.
Some clues or shadows of the entry of another star are already visible.
It is also understood that the identity of the 12th participant will only be revealed at the inaugural concert at 9 tonight.
Not to stop there, the next Big Stage 2022 surprise will be the Netizen President and Spicy Jury who will also be officially introduced during the concert.
Big Stage 2022 features two permanent jurors, namely famous composer, Ajai and popular singer, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Taruddin who is back for the fourth edition after a year off from this singing program.
The program, which will run for eight weeks every Sunday, still retains Alif Satar and Sherry Al-Hadad as hosts.
The Big Stage 2022 winner will take home RM100,000 in cash along with a trophy donated by Astro, while the second and third place winners will win RM50,000 and RM25,000 with a trophy respectively.
In previous seasons, Big Stage had crowned Sarah Suhairi, Han Byul and Azzam Sham as among the champions.
