Big Stage 2022: No eliminations, all participants advance to the next week
SYAFIQ Abdilah, Megat Rahim and Iqbal Zulkefli managed to continue their move on the Big Stage when it was announced that there would be no eliminations for the first week.
The three contestants were in the bottom three when getting the lowest scores based on their performances for the week.
However, only Megat Rahim was not judged by the jury that night because he did not make any presentation due to health factors.
While the mesmerizing performance from Aisyah Retno through the song “Teman” the original song of Iman Troye managed to put her in first place with a pretty convincing score of 84.40%.
Daniel Chuer who sang Steven Pasaribu’s original song “Belum Siap Kehilangan” closely followed Aisyah’s decision when she got 71% and was followed by Yazmin Aziz (65.8%) who sang Yonny Boi’s original song “Sakit”.
The performance of the participants for the first week was judged by two permanent judges, namely Ajai and Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza and accompanied by three invited judges, namely Datuk Seri Vida (Netizen President), Mas Idayu (Spicy Jury) and Season 8 Gegar Vaganza Champion, Alif Aziz as the jury.
The ‘Big Stage 2022’ winner will take home RM100,000 in cash along with a trophy donated by Astro, while the second and third place winners will win RM50,000 and RM25,000 with a trophy respectively.
The program, hosted by Alif Satar and Sherry Al-Hadad, is broadcast live from the Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC) for eight weeks every Sunday, at 9pm and is broadcast live on Astro Ria and Astro Ria HD channels.
