Aznil shared his fortune with 500 e-hailing riders
Popular LAWYER Datuk Aznil Nawawi came forward to donate to 500 e-hailing riders to brighten up the coming of Syawal soon.
Through the special Bingkisan Raya Rider project, the result of a noble initiative by the bumiputera company Eskayvie Sdn. Bhd. with Pak Nil, it is a sign of appreciation to the group who do the delivery task as a food delivery or package.
According to Pak Nil, who is also an ambassador for Eskayvie, motorcyclists who provide food delivery or e-hailing services are also part of the heroes and frontline workers who need to be praised.
“Seeing the determination and perseverance of the riders in their efforts to support their families as well as the importance of health care while interacting with the public, Eskayvie took this initiative to both provide support and an injection of enthusiasm to them.
“This is one of our small donations at Eskayvie. It includes presenting donations in the form of Raya money, special food and Eskayvie Diffenz.
“We hope that every ‘riders’ can take home and share with their family members or parents,” said Aznil who was also excited to see the excitement of Eskayvie’s headquarters in Shah Alam which was raided by riders as early as 11am on Friday.

The initiative is implemented in line with the #KitaIkhtiarSebelumKena campaign which emphasizes the importance of trying before being infected with any epidemic or other dangerous disease.
Aznil added that riders have become part of the party that has helped a lot to facilitate matters over the years.
“In fact, they are also among those who take the risk of risking their lives for survival. They themselves are vulnerable to various viruses out there.
“So, this Eskayvie Diffenz supply is as our Ikhtiar to protect ourselves and our families especially when gathering in large numbers on Eid.
“Eskayvie is very concerned with health care for self and family, moreover for now all restrictions on movement have been relaxed and the community is now back to socializing without any adherence to strict standard operating procedures (SOPs).
“However, we are not completely safe. Anything can happen. So when we return to the village, we have to abide by the SOP and provide protection to our parents.
“It’s been two years since we went back to celebrate Hari Raya with our families, so this year when we return to the village, we want all riders to bring Eskayvie Diffenz and give it as a gift to their parents and loved ones,” he said.
Meanwhile, the managing director of the brand, Kartika Wati Mohamed, said she did not want any of us to silently carry the virus and infect other family members.
“Especially our parents who are old. Of course we want to make this Raya more meaningful and not turn into a tragedy.
“Hopefully, this noble effort will benefit and inspire the surrounding community to also share the benefits and continue to raise awareness on the importance of healthcare,” said Kartika Wati who also distributed donations with Aznil.
