“Ariel is my best friend” – Bunga Citra Lestari
Indonesian CELEBRITY, Bunga Citra Lestari (BCL) denied accusations that she is pregnant with singer Ariel Noah’s child as it went viral on social media recently.
In fact, BCL was sad when netizens seemed to want to do ‘ body shaming ‘ about her body shape at that time which was seen as a slightly bulging stomach.
“I’m still sad when people ‘ body shaming ‘…hey I eat!
“Okay, do you want to see? (standing up and showing her stomach). This is the stomach of mothers who like to have lunch.
“From that photo, I don’t think everyone understands the angle of the photo at that time, which might be seen the other way around or maybe my stomach is bloating or I’m on my second period… all of those possibilities could cause the shape of my stomach to change,” she told Astro Gempak .
BCL answered the question to the media after the Blossom Intimate Concert Media Conference at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center on Wednesday evening.
More disappointingly, the gossip was linked to singer Ariel Noah whose name suddenly became hot when linked to pregnancy speculation.
“He is my best friend. In my opinion, netizens deliberately like to make gossip just for entertainment.
“They don’t know and aren’t with me every day, how do they know? I don’t blame them but I don’t like them organizing my life,” she explained.
BCL will hold its first concert in Malaysia through the BCL Blossom Intimate Concert on 27 January 2023.
The concert will take place at the Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Center starting at 8.30pm.
