Apple warns that system vulnerabilities allow iPhones and Macs to be hacked
SAN FRANCISCO: Leading computer technology company Apple Inc has warned of the existence of a vulnerability in the system that could allow hackers to take control of its output devices.
Apple in today’s statement urges users to update software on iPhone devices, iPads, and Mac computers.
The tech giant announced it had issued patches on Wednesday and Thursday to fix what it described as a ‘system vulnerability’ that hackers could have exploited.
“Apple is aware of reports that this issue may have been actively exploited,” the Silicon Valley-based company said.
The company, however, did not disclose whether it had any information on this matter.
The technical description indicates that hackers can use this vulnerability to take control of the device, accessing any of its data or capabilities.
