Aliff Aziz is the Gegar Vaganza 8 (GV8) champion

KUALA LUMPUR: Aliff Aziz emerged the champion of Gegar Vaganza season 8 (GV8) allowing him to take home a cash prize of RM100,000 and a trophy.

Aliff sang Sampai Syurga and dueted with Hafiz Suip to sing Dealova before meeting Aweera with Bangun in the Battle round.

Nikki Palikat and Suki Low won second and third place with RM50,000 and RM30,000 prizes and trophies respectively.

Adibah Noor, Azan Scan and Aweera placed fourth, fifth and sixth and each received prizes in the form of RM20,000, RM15,000 and RM10,000 cash and trophies.

Nabil and Jihan Muse became the hosts of GV8 with the country’s famous maestro, Datuk Ramli MS still retained as the permanent jury this new season accompanied by Hetty Koes Endang and Datuk Syafinaz Selamat.

For the record, the GV program has crowned its previous line -up of champion artists namely Ayai Ilusi (GV1), Siti Nordiana (GV2), Azharina (GV3), Aishah (GV4), Noryn Aziz (GV5), Naqiu & Hady Mirza (GV6) as well as Cliff Umar (GV7).
