Aishiteru singer Zul Zivilia admitted that he had forgotten about drugs
VOCALIST of Zivilia group, Zul is known to be serving a prison sentence for possessing and consuming drug faeces.
Zul was imprisoned for 18 years and spent four years as a prisoner in one of the prisons in South Jakarta.
Currently, the singer who is quite famous for the hit Aishiteru admits that he spent four years in prison to improve himself.
Zul said, he has gone through many experiences and life lessons to change himself for the better.
“Many new lessons I learned and made me better and better myself.
“I always try to be better. It is wiser to appreciate people, family and wife,” said Zul as reported by Detik.com.
Zul added, the most important thing is that he is no longer dependent on drugs which used to be important in his life.
“I used to have a very hard time wanting to give up drugs. But now Alhamdulillah it is completely clean.
“I never thought of going back to trying the illegal goods,” he said.
In 2019, the singer was arrested while packing 9.5 kilograms of syabu and 24,000 ecstasy pills. He is also believed to be involved in the network of buying and selling drugs from abroad.
