FINALLY, the riddle about the 12th Big Stage 2022 contestant was answered when young entrepreneur Ahmad Iqbal Zulkefli was announced to be competing with the contestants of the reality television show.
Iqbal sings the song When the Moon Talks, a song from Broery Marantika.
Hailing from Pasir Mas, Kelantan, Ahmad Iqbal managed to prove his ability in the field of music when he once obtained 2.1 million views on the YouTube platform through a single titled Hujan.
The number of video views of the 28-year-old thus qualifies him to participate in the Big Stage which outlines several conditions, including requiring each participant to have at least 500,000 views on any social media platform.
Apart from Ahmad Iqbal, Big Stage 2022 also features 11 great participants including Aisyah Retno, Lia Aziz, Tegar, Ajoi Zainal and Tuah Adzmi, each of which will win the title for this edition.
The ‘Big Stage 2022’ winner will take home a cash prize worth RM100,000 along with a trophy donated by Astro.
The second and third place winners will win RM50,000 and RM25,000 respectively with the trophy.
The program, hosted by Alif Satar and Sherry Al-Hadad, will be broadcast live for eight weeks every Sunday, 9pm starting tonight, February 6.
