
Agong, Permaisuri expressed her condolences to Adibah Noor’s family
KUALA LUMPUR: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah expressed his condolences to the entire family of singer and actress, Adibah Noor who passed away yesterday.
Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah also expressed the same speech through a post on the Facebook of Istana Negara today.
Their Majesties both expressed their sadness with the passing of Adibah Noor and hoped that the entire family of the late Allahyarhamah would be patient as well as persevere in the face of allegations and the sad and sorrowful atmosphere.
Al-Sultan Abdullah and Tunku Azizah prayed that the soul of the deceased be showered with blessings by Allah SWT and placed with the righteous.
“His Majesty also described Allahyarhamah’s passing as a great loss to the country’s art world,” according to the note.
Adibah Noor Mohamed Omar, 51, died at a private hospital here, at about 7.45 last night due to stage four ovarian cancer.
Allahyarhamah’s body was bathed and shrouded at the Al-Ansar Taman Keramat Mosque, about 9.20 this morning and was safely buried at the Taman Keramat Permai Islamic Cemetery, here around 12 noon.
