Afdlin Shauki targets the digitization of Wilayahku
The new CHAIRMAN of YWP Media Sdn Bhd, Datuk Afdlin Shauki is determined to digitize the Wilayahku newspaper so that it is more widely known.
He who was appointed as the Chairman of Yayasan Federal Wilayah Sdn Bhd, YWP Media Sdn Bhd effective 1 May 2023, is seen as committed to realizing the new responsibility.
“My hope is to further popularize this Wilayahku newspaper as well as increase the activities held at the Federal Territory Foundation (YWP) level and most importantly the digitization of Wilayahku so that it becomes a major force on social media,” he said when met at the YWP office. Media Sdn Bhd in Putrajaya.
He said through his observation, Wilayahku newspaper has a great potential to go further like other big media companies.
” Wilayahku has great potential where it can be a portal for news that happens in the Federal Territory (WP).
“At WP there are many interesting activities for young people and stakeholders such as religious ceremonies, teaching sessions and so on that can be announced to the citizens of the city,” explained he who also has experience as an advisor in a media company.
In the meantime, Afdlin also expressed his gratitude to the parties who have chosen him to take YWP Media to a higher level.
“I am very grateful to have been chosen to help face the challenges in improving and upgrading YWP Media,” he said.
