Achey cried by the side of the road, losing her mother to cancer
KUALA LUMPUR: The mother of popular comedian, Achey, Ngaisah Hassan, 74, breathed her last at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA), Johor at about 12.46 this morning.
It is understood that Allahyarham passed away due to cancer which he had been suffering from for two years.
According to Achey, or his real name is Mohd Nasir Hamzah, he found out about the condition of his mother’s deceased while recording the program with Zizan Razak and Scha Alyahya, Berita Harian reported .
He explained that as soon as he found out about his mother’s condition, he continued to return to the village but got the news about his mother’s departure while on the way.
“Several times I also had to stop the motorcycle crying by the side of the road, sadly only God knows. It’s like my soul is drifting over the departure of my ‘heaven’.
“Honestly, I regret not being on the side of the ghost at the time of my last breath.
“Although sad, I am still grateful that the deceased was invited by Allah on the last 10 nights of Ramadan,” he said when contacted by the news portal.
The remains will be buried at the Kampung Usaha Jaya Islamic Cemetery, Labis, Segamat today.
