Accused of being defamed, Zarina Anjoulie filed a police report
NILAI: The police confirmed receiving a report from celebrity, Zarina Anjoulie Mohamad Fahizul on Tuesday regarding the video sent by the owner of the Facebook account allegedly defaming her.
Nilai District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Fazley Ab Rahman said, the police received a report from the celebrity involved at 2.30am.
“She has reported that on August 12 she saw a video posted on Facebook which was found to be intended to embarrass and slander her.
“The purpose of filing a police report is to refer the matter to a lawyer and for civil action,” she said in a statement to the media on Tuesday.
According to her, the case has been classified as Refer to the Magistrate (RKM) for civil action.
Meanwhile, through ‘IG Story’ on Zarina’s Instagram, better known as Anju, she also explained why the police report was made against the individual involved.
She explained that the owner of the salon had been uploading several videos about herself continuously with the aim of increasing his ‘views’.
“It also aims to embarrass Anju and humiliate Anju. Anju has ordered them to stop but they doesn’t want to stop.
“Anju doesn’t want to argue on Instagram like a little boy. So Anju decided to sue and Anju has filed a police report,” she said.
