Aaron accepted Yusof Haslam’s offer after being dropped by Syamsul
REZEKI is never the wrong address. That can be described about the actor Datuk Aaron Aziz who accepted an offer to act with the famous director, Datuk Yusof Haslam.
Refusing to create any speculation, Yusof insisted that the offer had nothing to do with the conflict between his son Syamsul Yusof and Aaron.
“Actually I was looking for an actor for the role of a villain, when Aaron told me he was dropped and lost his job so I hired him who happened to have free time at the time.
“There is no issue about Syamsul dropping Aaron and me taking him, this is just a coincidence. We need an important character. That character also suits him. I don’t want people to misunderstand.
“No intention, for God’s sake… Syamsul is my son so there is no issue, I love my son. I didn’t take Aaron because I wanted revenge. By God there is no (intention),” he said.
Yusof shared that when met at the premiere of Astro Original Liar which took place in Petaling Jaya, Selangor on Wednesday night.
Even Yusof also explained that he refused to know about the conflict between Syamsul and Aaron but still hoped for the best for both of them.
“For me, there might be a misunderstanding between him and Syamsul. I’m not sure why he was aborted. I don’t want to hurt my son and other people involved.
“I hired Aaron in a professional manner without prejudice. Frankly I always wish the best for my son and daughter-in-law… and so does Aaron.
“This industry is only small, we will see each other again,” he said.
