A great film about Sarawak will be screened for free in Sibu today
SIBU: Peon, Kelinguh and Setting Moon are among the short films that will be screened at the Sibu Digital Innovation Hub in Jalan Kuda here, for free this Saturday.
Legal Officer and Sibu Digital Innovation Hub Program Coordinating Officer Charlly Simon said the free viewing for the public was aimed at promoting the 18th Mini Film Festival and Mini Art Festival (MFF X MAF) to be held in Kuching from July 14 to 17.
“MFF X MAF is an international festival that brings together industry players, talents, experts and investors in the field of art and film from all over Southeast Asia including Thailand, Indonesia and Myanmar,” he said in a press conference, here, yesterday.
He said on Sunday, an interview session with Festival Director and Senior Lecturer of Falkuti Applied and Creative Arts Universiti Malaysia Sarawak Yow Chong Lee and film director Izaq Yuzaini would be held.
The program can also provide an opportunity for the public to better understand the objectives, vision and mission of the program as well as share opinions, suggestions and criticisms related to the film and art industry in Malaysia.
