A combination of reggae/rock, the Budi Doremi x Nidji concert on March 16 will appear different

AFTER the last time they came to Malaysia in 2019, the famous band from Indonesia, Nidji will cure the longing of fans through a mini concert at the Dream Festival event organized by Inspire IDN on 16 March next.

However, at this concert, Nidji will not be alone as the band will collaborate with one of the country’s most famous musicians, Budi Doremi.

The organizers want to show a difference

According to the representative of Inspire IDN, Gita, the combination of Budi Doremi x Nidji is a difference that they are trying to show since both bring different genres.

This is because Budi Doremi is better known for music in the pop reggae genre, while Nidji is better known for music in the modern rock genre.

In fact, they are also excited considering that this is the first time Inspire IDN is organizing a festival in this country.

“Thank you Budi and Nidji for being the artist line-up with us for the first debut in Malaysia.

“Our objective is to present something different and we see different genres of music from both of them.

“When our side proposed to Budi and Nidji, then they agreed, that was a very exciting decision for us.

“The collaboration between them is very unique. Hopefully this will be a good presentation later, “he said.

Choosing Zepp Kuala Lumpur as the location, the Budi Doremi x Nidji mini concert will entertain fans with a collection of popular songs and hits from the two musicians.

Nidji appeals to old memories

Meanwhile, according to Nidji’s guitarist, Rama, he admitted that he was excited when he and the band were able to return once again in Malaysia.

“Alhamdulillah, finally able to return to Malaysia again to perform. Feeling very happy to come to Kuala Lumpur.

“We want to present a lot on the night of the concert. Of course we promise the audience will be entertained.

“We are also very excited, last time in 2019, Inspire production brought us back with the age of our band which has reached 21 years in the music industry.

“This is like repeating Nidji’s initial journey, before we were interrupted because of COVID-19. This time to be able to entertain again and do a concert, it feels really good,” he said.

Budi Doremi prepares the music

In the meantime, Budi also admitted that he was excited to perform at the concert since this was his debut appearance for a large-scale performance.

“This is my first concert in Malaysia. But I also came to Malaysia to promote my song.

“So one of the preparations I made was to take good care of my health, take care of my voice. Prepare the music that I will bring later so that it goes smoothly later,” he said.
