The soundtrack for the film is titled Lift Me Up , with Rihanna writing it with fellow Tems artist, Oscar winner Ludwig Göransson and Black Panther Director Ryan Coogler.

“After speaking with Coogler and understanding the direction of the song and the film, I wanted to write something that symbolized ‘strength’ while also celebrating all the individuals I had lost before.

“I imagined myself singing this song to all of them and expressing my deep longing,” Tems said in a statement released, CNN reported .

He also said: “Rihanna is an inspiration to me and she has delivered this song very well. It is an honor for us.”

Lift Me Up , which was recorded in five countries, will be released today (Friday).
